Production Operatives / Paint Sprayers / Vinyl Applicators – 6-month contract
We are looking to recruit up to 4 practical, hands-on team members to support production work involving painting, paint spraying, vinyl application and general workshop duties. These are full-time, 6-month contract roles running from July to March in Kirkcaldy, and candidates who are available to start straight away would be preferred.
About the role
This role would suit someone with a good work attitude, experience in painting or paint spraying, and the ability to work well as part of a busy team. Experience applying vinyl would be helpful, forklift skills would be a strong advantage, and immediate availability would be ideal.
Key responsibilities
· Preparing, painting and paint spraying items to the required standard.
· Applying vinyl accurately and carefully.
· Assisting with general production and workshop tasks.
· Carrying out manual handling duties, including some heavy lifting where required.
· Working safely and efficiently as part of a team.
· Supporting agreed project timelines and delivery requirements.
Skills and experience
· Painting or paint spraying experience is essential.
· Forklift experience or a forklift licence would be highly desirable.
· Vinyl application experience would be beneficial.
· A positive, reliable approach to work is important.
· You should be comfortable with practical work and manual handling.
· Local candidates with their own transport would be preferred, but this is not essential.
Team Leader / Supervisor opportunity
We are also interested in hearing from candidates who have experience leading a small team or supervising production work. At least one position may suit someone who can take on a team leader or supervisor role.
