Job Summary
As a pivotal member of the Bruntsfield Pharmacy & Travel and Health Clinic team, you will specialise in conducting daily Travel Health Consultations. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough risk assessments, delivering expert advice, administering vaccinations, offering malaria prophylaxis, and recommending essential travel medicines. All actions will align with the guidelines established by the Patient Group Directions which will be worked under.
Duties
- Conduct daily Travel Health Consultations with a focus on personalised care.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and provide tailored advice to travellers.
- Administer vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and prepare essential medical kits for travellers diarrhoea etc.
- Adhere to relevant Patient Group Directions at all times.
- Maintain meticulous client records
- Ensure the delivery of safe clinical services.
- Uphold and consistently deliver a superior standard of customer service to our valued patients.
Requirements
- Essential: Hold current registration with NMC
- Essential: hold a qualification in Registered Nursing
- Essential: An interest in Travel Health medicine
- Desirable – Foundation/ Diploma in Travel Medicine

Hours
- Full time and Part time applicants welcome to apply.

Pay: From £36,000.00 per year
