Summary
We are seeking an Early Years Educator who is passionate about nurturing young minds. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the early experiences of our children, contributing to their development and well-being through engaging activities and care.
The role will be a key person within the baby room for 30 hours per week, over 4 days
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with health and safety standards related to childcare
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Safeguarding and First Aid certification
- A passion for early childhood education
- Have experience in working with the EYFS
