We are seeking a skilled, flexible and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills
