Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant fluent in Romanian and English to join our financial team. Duties
- Manage and perform comprehensive financial accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record, analyze, and report financial data efficiently.
- Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with local and international standards, providing clear insights into the company’s financial health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior accountants by providing guidance on best practices in financial reporting and software usage.
- Assist in audits and internal controls to uphold the integrity of financial information and improve processes.
Skills
- Fluent in Romanian and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience working with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and practices.
- Expertise in financial management, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger accounting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills with a proactive approach to team development.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Commission Structure
This position offers a base salary of £1,500 per month, plus an additional 10% commission on the value of every contract they secure.
