We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded Retail Property Surveyor to join our Property Partnerships team. This is an exciting opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys balancing technical property expertise with relationship building, problem solving and delivering exceptional customer service.

Accountabilities
- Deliver annual planned maintenance programmes across your region.
- Proactively manage reactive repairs and property issues.
- Lead minor capital investment projects up to £40,000, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular property inspections, including partner accommodation reviews, ensuring standards remain high.
- Ensure company assets remain legally compliant, safe and operationally effective.
- Provide practical, commercially focused property advice to internal stakeholders and pub partners.
- Work closely with Operations Managers, contractors and suppliers to deliver quality solutions and excellent customer outcomes.
- Support wider property initiatives including acquisitions, disposals, transfers and departmental projects.
- Use stock condition data and site-specific intelligence to inform maintenance planning and investment priorities.
- Champion sustainability, continuous improvement and long-term asset value across the estate.
Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in property surveying, maintenance management or estate management.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and property compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage projects effectively.
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Desirable
- RICS qualification or equivalent professional property qualification.
- Experience within retail, leisure, hospitality or commercial property environments.
- Knowledge of building legislation, statutory compliance and capital project delivery.
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
