Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials through picking, packing, stocking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment to load, unload, and move goods efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track stock levels, update inventory records, and ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury.
- Support stock replenishment activities by stocking shelves and organizing storage areas for easy access.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment maintenance is a plus.
