Mirai Energy Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Heat Pump Project Manager to join a growing renewables business.
This is a varied role combining project management, customer site visits and technical coordination, working closely with engineers, manufacturers and senior management to deliver high-quality Air Source Heat Pump installations.
The Role
You’ll manage multiple Air Source Heat Pump projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with MCS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out customer site surveys.
- Design and specify Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Complete heat loss calculations and system sizing.
- Prepare quotations and technical proposals.
- Manage projects from enquiry through to handover.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and materials.
- Order equipment and liaise with manufacturers.
- Provide technical support to installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with MCS standards and current regulations.
- Complete quality inspections and review commissioning paperwork.
- Keep customers updated throughout the project.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing Air Source Heat Pump projects.
- Strong knowledge of domestic heating and renewable heating systems.
- MCS experience is essential.
- Experience carrying out surveys and producing quotations.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Relevant heating or renewable energy qualifications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
