The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring Singing Teacher to join our fantastic teaching team on Thursday during term time.
You will deliver engaging singing classes to children aged 4–18 years, helping students develop strong vocal technique, performance skills and confidence in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging singing lessons for a range of age groups and abilities.
- Teach both Musical Theatre and Commercial singing styles.
- Develop students' vocal technique, harmony, performance skills and stage presence.
- Prepare students for termly performances and showcases (Christmas and Summer)
- Work collaboratively with the Drama and Dance teachers to create exciting production numbers.
- Inspire confidence, creativity and a love of performing.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and the teaching team.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.
About You

- Able to create fun, imaginative and age-appropriate lessons.
- Committed to helping children grow in confidence as well as performance skills.
Essential Requirements
- Strong vocal training and performance experience.
- Experience teaching singing to children and young people.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
Desirable
- Degree or recognised qualification in Music, Musical Theatre or Performing Arts.
- Experience preparing students for performances and productions.
- Knowledge of Musical Theatre, Commercial and contemporary vocal styles.
