FLT Driver / Industrial Operative

£13.00 per hour
Rotating Shifts: 6:00am to 3:00pm & 1:00pm to 10:00pm
About the Role
Work Lyf Group is currently recruiting for a FLT Driver / Industrial Operative to join our busy operations team in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines forklift truck operation with general site duties. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment and be prepared to undertake manual tasks as part of their daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving materials around site
- Assisting with general housekeeping duties including sweeping and maintaining work areas
- Carrying out manual handling and lifting tasks
- Supporting wider operational activities as required
- Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures
About You
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating FLT trucks in an industrial or warehouse environment
- Willingness to undertake manual labour alongside FLT duties
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Able to work rotating shift patterns
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
