We're recruiting a full-time Scheduling Specialist to join our friendly Scheduling Team in Manchester.
As a Scheduling Specialist, you'll play a key role in keeping our nationwide team of engineers running efficiently. You'll be responsible for planning and optimising engineer diaries, coordinating appointments, and working closely with multiple departments to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Role Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Office-based at our Manchester office
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and optimising engineer diaries to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time
- Scheduling service appointments, installations and urgent call-outs across the UK
- Liaising with engineers throughout the day to manage changes, delays and emergency work
- Speaking with customers by phone and email to arrange and amend appointments
- Working closely with our Service, Sales and Orders teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Responding quickly to cancellations and making the best use of available appointment slots
- Accurately maintaining customer information and appointment records within our systems
- Delivering outstanding customer service while balancing customer expectations with operational requirements
Skills & Qualities We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Field Service Scheduler or similar scheduling/planning role is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple engineer diaries and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build positive relationships with engineers, customers and internal teams.
- Experience of planning appointments efficiently while considering travel time, geography and engineer skill sets.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable and confident dealing with last-minute changes and finding practical solutions.
- A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues.
- Highly confident and comfortable speaking to customers and engineers over the phone, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally and build rapport.
