We are currently recruiting for compassionate Complex Support Worker to join our growing team in Sudbury and surrounding areas. You will be working within a patient’s home monitoring them throughout the day and night, following appropriate clearance checks and bespoke training.
This is a permanent position that supports one client, ensuring they receive the best level of care possible.

Pay Rate: £16.00 to £18.00 per Hour!
Shifts: Days / Nights and weekends must be flexible to all shifts
Job Overview
- Caring for patients in their own home, in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of clinical leads.
- Delivering person centred care to your patient
- Learning to use complex care equipment and carry out complex care procedures.
- Building rapport and level of trust with families
- Administering medication and adhering to care plans
- Manual handling of the patients
- Supporting client with days out and medical appointments
- To undergo training and development to maintain skills throughout the package duration and improve on current skillset as the patient develops.

Requirements
- Must be a driver.
- Flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and friendly.
- Ensure service users are at the heart of care delivery; working to enhance development and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the efficient and safe running of the service.
- Work as part of a clinical team.
- Ensure care plans and other information are followed.
- Ensure any changes or issues are escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely.
- Superb awareness and attention to detail, communication (written and verbal).
- Desire to go above and beyond to create a comfortable environment.
- If appropriate, develop and maintain relationships with family, friends, and other important people in their life.
- Able to meet compliance requirements including a valid DBS (on the update service), mandatory training and a minimum of 5 years’ worth of references.

- Be a role module for other carers and be an ambassador for the service.
- Be professional, polite, and reasonable always.
