Part-Time Shop Assistant – Early Mornings (2 Mornings Per Week 10 hours ) Newsagents & Sweetshop in Milford on sea Permanent, part time position. We're looking for a friendly, reliable,honest and reasonable active person to join our small team at our community-focused village shop. We're more than just a newsagent – we're a place where local people stop for a chat, pick up their daily essentials, and often bring their four-legged friends along too. If you enjoy meeting people, love being part of a community, and don't mind an early start, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing: Receiving and sorting newspaper and magazine deliveries. Serving customers with a smile Helping keep the shop clean, tidy and welcoming Offering the occasional fuss to our canine visitors! We're looking for someone who: Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual Enjoys talking to people and providing excellent customer service with a great SOH Is comfortable working independently Loves being part of a friendly community atmosphere Is dog-friendly (a must!) Retail experience is helpful but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are far more important. Please get in touch for more information.
