Electrical Service Engineer | Pumps
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Service Engineer, working across a varied fleet of electric pumps and associated equipment.
This is a hands-on position combining depot and field-based work, covering fault finding, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Working with electric submersible pumps and 415V control panels
- Servicing and maintaining pump equipment
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Working both in the depot and at customer sites
- Supporting and training junior engineers and apprentices
- Ensuring all work meets required QHSE and safety standards
What we’re looking for:
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- 18th Edition qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within electrical service or maintenance
- Confident using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Experience with pumps, motors, control panels or similar equipment is highly desirable
- Comfortable working independently and attending customer sites
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

- Knowledge of surface mount component placement and inspection standards.
- Experience working with CAD tools for schematics creation and mechanical-electrical integration.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to electrical system installation or packaging is desirable.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently while maintaining rigorous documentation standards.
