Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Temporary PSV Minibus Driver to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers using a Public Service Vehicle (PSV), specifically a minibus, ensuring timely and secure journeys. Duties
- Safely operate the minibus in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring passenger safety at all times
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to verify mechanical condition and identify any maintenance needs
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service and clear communication
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports as required
- Follow scheduled routes and timings diligently, making adjustments as necessary for traffic or operational changes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding trip updates or issues during transit
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and ready for service at all times
Requirements
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for PSV operation
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with PSV or minibus experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and defensive driving techniques
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with passengers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to handle delivery or passenger transport responsibilities efficiently and reliably
- Good communication skills to assist passengers courteously and provide clear instructions
- Ability to work flexibly in a temporary capacity, adapting to changing schedules and operational needs
