Cranstoun is looking for a dedicated and motivated Violence Prevention Practitioner to join our Domestic Abuse Prevention Service across North Tyneside.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with individuals who use abusive behaviours in their relationships, helping them to understand the impact of their actions, take responsibility, and make meaningful, long-term changes. As a Violence Prevention Practitioner, you will:
✔ Deliver behaviour change programmes to men and women who perpetrate domestic abuse
✔ Support individuals to develop healthier relationships and safer behaviours
✔ Contribute to reducing harm and improving outcomes for victims, families and communities
✔ Work collaboratively with partner agencies across South Yorkshire
✔ Help shape and develop an innovative and impactful service
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working within domestic abuse services or a related field
Is passionate about behaviour change and improving community safety
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
Is motivated, resilient and committed to making a positive difference
Has experience delivering programmes, training or community-based interventions (desirable)
