Duties
- Supervise and support retail staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, merchandising, and sales strategies.
- Train and mentor new employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Follow food hygiene guidelines to ensure bakery food is produced up to standard.
- Conduct regular audits of merchandise displays to ensure compliance with visual standards.
- Utilise strong communication skills to engage with customers and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in merchandising techniques and retail sales management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Time management expertise to ensure efficient operation of the store
- Knowledge of phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries
