We are looking for a compassionate, reliable & experienced Waking Night Care Assistant to join our team supporting a young autistic client in their own home.
This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in ensuring our client remains safe, comfortable & supported throughout the night.
What the role involves:
Every Thursday 7pm to Friday 8am (with opportunity for more hours during school holidays)
Providing overnight support & supervision
Promoting independence whilst ensuring safety & wellbeing
Following personalised care & support plans
Maintaining accurate records & handovers
Responding calmly & confidently to any needs that arise during the night
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Experience working in care or support settings
Excellent communication & observation skills
A patient, understanding & person-centred approach
Ability to work independently throughout the night
