Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Courier Driver to operate independently, delivering parcels and goods efficiently across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in logistics or warehouse environments. This role offers flexible working arrangements for those who enjoy autonomous work and customer interaction.
Highest daily rates paid
Flat rate of 120, plus bonus can reach up to 160, that's among them supplied van, fuel, insurance, expenses.
If you have your own van, flat rate of 180, plus bonus can reach up to 250, that's including your fuel and any other extra expenses, please note it needs to be LWB and no more than 5 years old.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies at all times during operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse environments is advantageous.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading parcels If necessary.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Organised approach to route planning and time management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision.
