Job Summary:
Total Clean have an exciting new opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our team in St Elizabeth Hospice, in Ipswich
You will be working as part of a team and be responsible for maintaining agreed levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout St Elizabeth.
This post is for 25 hours per week working Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 1pm to 6pm.
Key Priorities:
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site.
Maintain clinical cleaning across clinical areas of the hospice
Perform role in an unpredictable environment and must change activities at other’s request or on own initiative.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean in clinical patient areas within the hospice.
Clean communal areas, such as toilets, kitchens, corridors and offices.
Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
Wipe down and sanitise high contact areas and surfaces.
Empty bins and replace bin bags of general and clinical waste.
Replenish supplies i.e. toilet roll, soap and paper towels.
