Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and team cohesion to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on food presentation, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to maintain excellent guest relations.
- Assist in stock control, ordering supplies, and managing inventory levels effectively.
- Support the management team in implementing promotional activities or special events within the restaurant.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in the organisation and coordination of restaurant activities.
- Ensure restaurant areas are clean, well-presented, and maintained to company standards.
- Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality and consistency.
- Assist with cash handling and end-of-shift procedures where required.
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, reception, and management teams to ensure seamless guest service.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Experience in serving or food preparation roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary processes gained through restaurant or kitchen experience.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
