A2 Tyres Supplies is a well-established and growing tyre specialist, providing high-quality tyres and excellent customer service. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable TyreTechnician to join our operations team.
The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused tyre services.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely remove and install tyres using specialist tools and equipment
- Ensure correct torque settings and tyre pressures in line with vehicle specifications
- Diagnose and repair punctures, cuts, and other tyre damage
- Carry out tyre repairs using patch and plug methods to industry standards
- Balance wheels to ensure smooth and safe vehicle operation
- Carry out wheel alignment to reduce tyre wear and improve handling
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and explain tyre options and repairs clearly
- Maintain accurate tyre stock records and assist with stock ordering
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Ensure tools and equipment are well maintained and safe to use
About You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician
- Strong knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and specifications
- Experience with tyre repair, wheel balancing, and alignment
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full, valid driving licence
