As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator / Contracts Manager to join our team and help oversee projects from pre-start through to completion.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone with a strong trade background who enjoys organisation, problem solving and working with both customers and site teams.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing multiple loft conversion projects at various stages of construction.
You will act as the main link between our clients, office team, subcontractors and site teams, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time and to the high standards we are known for.
This is not an office-based management role.
You will be expected to regularly visit sites, inspect works, communicate with clients and help drive projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple loft conversion projects simultaneously.
- Conducting pre-start meetings with clients.
- Regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
- Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors.
- Managing project schedules and key milestones.
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they become larger problems.
- Maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the project.
- Managing multiple project WhatsApp groups.
- Liaising with office staff regarding schedules, orders and documentation.
- Carrying out snagging inspections and project handovers.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
- Helping maintain the high standards and customer experience DJMoore Lofts is known for.
Essential RequirementsTrade Background
Applicants must have a construction trade background.
Ideally you will be a carpenter/joiner, however applicants with strong residential construction experience will also be considered.
You must have:
- Good understanding of general construction.
- Good understanding of bathroom installations and layouts.
- Ability to identify poor workmanship and potential issues.
- Confidence speaking with trades and directing works where required.
Organisation
You must be extremely organised and capable of managing multiple projects at the same time.
This role requires:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent planning skills.
- Good record keeping.
- Ability to stay on top of multiple moving parts.
Communication
Excellent communication skills are essential.
You will be expected to:
- Manage multiple client and site WhatsApp groups.
- Communicate clearly with clients and trades.
- Keep projects updated and documented.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Driving Licence
A full UK driving licence is required as the role involves travelling between sites throughout Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
Process Driven
We have invested heavily in systems and procedures.
Applicants must be comfortable following company SOPs, checklists and project management systems to ensure consistency across all projects.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000+ per year depending on experience, plus performance-related bonuses.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
