Teacher – Specialist Provision 6 Pupils Max
Winsford - Full-time,,Temporary, Temporary to Permanent or Permanent | 40 hours per week
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teacher to join our specialist provision in Winsford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people who have experienced complex trauma and abuse.
The Role
You will teach individuals or small groups of pupils (both within and outside the classroom), prepare high-quality lessons and resources, and assess children with long or short-term learning difficulties. You will work closely with colleagues to identify and support individual special educational needs.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of our pupils
- Producing and developing high-quality teaching and learning materials using a variety of methods
- Assisting in maintaining a positive culture that supports curriculum development
- Providing cover for absent colleagues and undertaking other duties consistent with the role

About You
Essential:
- An appropriate Teacher Education qualification (or working towards)
- Level 5 CPD in Numeracy/Literacy or a Degree-level qualification (or working towards)
- Successful teaching experience (ideally in independent schools, PRUs or colleges)
- Ability to identify and support learners with differing needs
- Ability to manage diverse groups of learners in varying environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality education and the ability to engage with Looked After Children (LAC)
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, resilience and a positive attitude
- A strong focus on safeguarding
