Job Description
Your main responsibilities as a Cratewash Operative will include:

Carrying out cleaning duties to the required standards and in accordance to cleaning schedules to ensure that production is maintained.

Distributing equipment in line with the needs of production to enable efficient running of departments.

Unloading and storage of crates.
-
Keeping the yard area clear of equipment and pallets, general house-keeping activities to ensure the site is clean and safe.

Correct use of chemicals for specific cleaning tasks as directed by chemical suppliers and in line with COSHH.

Correct disposal of debris.

Strict adherence to all site policies, practices and standards.
-
Awareness of health and safety requirements and encourage a safe working environment for all.

Report any problems or damage to machinery or facilities to the Section Leader or Manager.
Qualifications
As our Cratewash Cleaner you will:

Have good attention to detail and a positive, 'can-do' approach.
-
Be passionate about maintaining the cleanliness of the Cratewash area
-
Be comfortable working in an environment which processes raw meat
