Over the past 5 years we have established Hive as a place for friends and family to meet and escape the hussle and bussle of life. Our coffee shop is based in a grade II listed manor house with light furnishings and ceiling high windows overlooking Drewetts park and St Paul’s Monastery. We also have plenty of outside picnic benches for some alfresco dining, perfect for hot sunny days.
We share a site with Jarrow Hall Anglo-Saxon Farm Village and Bede Museum where there is plenty of history to explore, and The Herb Garden which hosts a range of Anglo-Saxon and medieval herbs to the rear of the coffee shop.
