Business Development Manager – Manned Guarding Security
Please note, this is a UK based position.
Preferably located in the South East, London or Kent area.

The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the key to this role will be to bring private sector security tenders into our sales team for bidding and assist the bid team to secure consistent tender wins. Security experience is essential.
The ability to develop good relationships with potential customers and build a good rapport with internal teams will be an essential part of the role.
Ideally you will have an existing pipeline of potential tenders coming up.
From time to time you may be required to support existing contracts from an operational perspective and as such, it would be advantageous if you currently hold a non-frontline SIA license. Any operational experience will be considered an advantage but is not necessary as we will support your development in this area.
You will be required to deliver regular progress reports and attend team meetings via Microsoft Teams.

The Person:
We are looking for a dynamic and tenacious individual that can build relationships to create a strong foundation for winning private sector security contracts.
You will be the first impression of Graffins that many of our potential customers will experience so you will be a professional and confident person with excellent customer service standards.
You will have excellent communication skills on the phone and in person combined with good presentation skills to promote Graffins in a positive and professional light.
Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be required for this role.

Salary: A competitive salary which will be negotiable depending on your experience.
Bonus: A bonus structure will be performance-related based on suitable tenders being delivered to our bid team with an additional bonus for tenders won.
Location: Graffins is a forward-thinking business and offers a flexible working structure for our employees. You will be offered a work-from-home contract for this position however most of your work will be around the South East and South of the UK so being based in this area is preferable. You will be required to travel for client meetings and presentations so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Hours: This position is full time hours with flexible working inline with our family friendly working policy. Much of the work will however need to be completed during business hours as it is essential that you are able to contact and visit potential customers.
Equipment: You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone for the purposes of carrying out your duties. You will be required to maintain a suitable broadband service for home working.
Expenses: Reasonable expenses will be paid for travel etc. for the role.
