An opportunity to lead the operation of a diverse, customer-focused resort and play a key role in its continued development.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Operations to join our Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a senior, highly visible role with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our Restaurant, Bars and Meetings & Events business, leading through a team of Heads of Department and Duty Managers.
Our resort incorporates hotel accommodation, restaurants and bars, Meetings & Events, spa and fitness facilities and a golf club, creating a varied and fast-moving hospitality environment.
THE ROLE
You will lead the operational management team, ensuring consistently high standards of service, guest experience, people management and commercial performance across a busy 365-day operation.
Key responsibilities include:
· Leading, developing and holding the management team accountable for performance.
· Overseeing Restaurant, Bars and Meetings & Events operations.
· Driving high standards of service, presentation and guest experience.
· Improving processes, SOPs and operational efficiency.
· Managing labour, stock and other operational costs effectively.
· Contributing to revenue, profitability and KPI targets.
· Responding proactively to guest feedback and operational issues.
· Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety and licensing requirements.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced hospitality operator with a strong Food & Beverage background, proven experience of leading multiple departments through a management team, and a clear understanding of the commercial drivers of hospitality.
You will be visible, hands-on, organised, decisive and commercially aware, with the ability to lead by example, develop people and maintain high standards in a demanding environment.
This is a 365-day operation, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
