Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the Site premises.
Working hours are 4.5 hours per day. Monday to Friday .
£12.71 per hour plus 0.50 per hour attendance allowance .
Early AM Shift or PM shift to be discussed.
Uniform provided.
Reference required .
Able to use own initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures is desirable
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in creating clean, safe environments. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services will be considered an asset.
