Springfield school is an Outstanding special school catering for pupils and young people with significant special needs. The school offers classes with a high staff to pupil ratio managed by experienced and qualified teaching and classroom support staff.
We are recruiting for:
IT Technician
We are looking for an energetic, motivated and hardworking individual to join our school team and provide hardware and software classroom support for teachers using the computer facilities.
The successful candidate will maintain computer networks, printers and other peripherals (including installing new software), thereby minimising system’s ‘downtime’
Knowledge and previous experience of working with Apple Macs, Windows 11 and IT networks is essential.
The applicant should be proactive, enthusiastic and have a positive approach to work. They should have excellent communciation skills , be able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.
A valid driving licence is also required as there will be some travel required to support the school's satellite site in Wilmslow.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 0800-1600
START: As soon as the successful candidate is available.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £25,118.00-£27,378.00 per year
