Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all cafe areas, including dining spaces, counters, kitchen, and restrooms
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment regularly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks to facilitate efficient food service
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are well-maintained
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or hotel cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices is advantageous
- Experience with cooking or culinary activities is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
