Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Waiting On Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of customer service, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant/bar experience is required, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a lively social setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all alcohol service adheres to legal requirements and responsible serving practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and promote repeat business
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for creating positive guest interactions
- Must be 21+ to apply for this job role
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
