Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental team as a Trainee Dental Nurse. This role provides the opportunity to learn and develop within a supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards a recognized dental nursing qualification. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists, hygienists, and therapists with all clinical procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and materials
- Ensure the surgery is clean and well-stocked
- Provide chairside support during treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
- Follow infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Provide reassurance and support to patients
- Attend training and complete coursework towards dental nursing qualification

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary (training provided)
- Must be enrolled (or willing to enroll) in an accredited dental nursing course
- Hepatitis B vaccination (or willingness to undergo vaccination)
