Children’s Holiday Camp Manager
School Holiday Provision (All School Holidays)
We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Children’s Holiday Camp Manager to lead and oversee our holiday activity camps during all school holiday periods, including February Half Term, Easter, May Half Term, and Summer Holidays.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of holiday camps delivering a wide range of engaging activities such as multi-sports, inflatables, laser tag, Nerf activities, team games, archery, creative arts & crafts sessions, and enrichment activities.
Working pattern
School holidays only, Monday to Friday
Typical hours: 8am to 4:30pm
Daily rate
£140 per day
The role
As Holiday Camp Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of the camp. You will lead staff teams, manage daily operations, ensure safeguarding and health and safety standards are met, and provide an outstanding experience for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall management of the holiday camp site
- Leading, supervising, and supporting camp staff
- Managing groups of children and ensuring appropriate staffing ratios
- Ensuring activities are delivered safely, inclusively, and in line with policies
- Overseeing behaviour management and safeguarding procedures
- Completing and monitoring health and safety documentation
- Acting as the main point of contact for parents on site
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and internal standards
- Reviewing daily delivery and supporting continuous improvement
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Experienced in leading teams within childcare, education, or holiday provision
- Confident managing groups of children aged 4–12
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to delivering a safe, fun, and inclusive experience
Essential experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in holiday camps, childcare, education, or sports coaching
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Ability to provide two professional references
- Driving licence desirable but not essential
