We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Nurse to join our team in Mosborough. This is a full‑time position, but part‑time will be considered as one of our lovely nurses is jetting off, so we’re looking to welcome someone new into the team.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with our clinicians to deliver high‑quality patient care, maintain excellent infection control, and help keep the practice running smoothly day‑to‑day.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining the clinical environment and equipment
- Carrying out infection prevention and control procedures
- Recording dental charting and oral tissue assessments as directed
- Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials
- Providing chairside support throughout treatments
- Keeping accurate, contemporaneous patient records
- Preparing equipment, materials and patients for dental radiography
- Processing dental radiographs
- Monitoring, supporting and reassuring patients
- Giving appropriate patient advice
- Supporting colleagues and patients in the event of a medical emergency
- Making appropriate referrals to other health professionals
- Any additional practice‑specific duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered)
- Confident working independently
- Professional, organised and patient‑focused
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in general practice preferred
