We’re recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a well-established mixed NHS and private practice in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity to inherit an established patient list from the Principal Dentist while benefiting from strong private growth potential within a supportive and fully digital environment.
About the Role:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Days Available: 2 Days - Potential for Full time
- Minimum Availability: Monday & Friday (half day)
- Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch) / Friday 9:00am – 2:00pm
- NHS Remuneration:
- 40% of patient-paid care package income, or £500 per day guaranteed rate
- Private Split: 50%
- Lab Bills: 50%
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year post-DFT experience
Practice Details:
- Type: Mixed NHS & Private Practice (Predominantly NHS)
- Patient List: Established list available, taking over the Principal Dentist’s patients
- Surgeries: 3
- Digitalised: Fully digital practice
- Software: Dentally
- Equipment: Medit Intraoral Scanner
- Parking: Off-road parking available with dedicated staff parking space
- Transport Links: Bus stop directly outside the practice and railway station approximately 7 minutes’ walk away
Requirements:
- GDC Registered Dentist
- NHS Performer Number required
- Minimum 1 year post-DFT experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Motivated to develop private treatment opportunities alongside NHS dentistry
