Job Summary
C&M Roofing & Roughcasting is a business based in Glasgow who carry out works in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. We won SHIA for Best Customer Service in 2024 and Highly Recommended in both Roofing and Roughcasting categories from 2023 -2025.
Due to expansion we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team.
Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems
- Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing materials efficiently and safely
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and install roofing components
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in heavy lifting and manoeuvring of roofing materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety on site
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents during roofing operations
Experience
- Proven experience in roofing is essential
- Prior experience working at heights and adhering to safety protocols is required
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at height
- Driving licence is preferred but not essential as company van could be provided to the correct candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
