We're looking for a Professional Support Tutor who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them succeed throughout their apprenticeship journey.
You may already be working within apprenticeship delivery, tutoring or assessing. Or you may be a registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist looking for a new challenge where you can use your experience to develop the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
Either way, you'll be joining a supportive and experienced team committed to delivering outstanding learner experiences.

As a Professional Support Tutor, you'll play a key role in supporting learners, employers and delivery teams to ensure apprentices remain engaged, motivated and on track to achieve their qualifications.
Your impact goes beyond progress reviews and learner support – you'll help shape careers, build confidence and contribute to the future healthcare workforce.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting progress reviews with learners and employers, ensuring targets and achievements are accurately recorded
- Supporting learner progression through regular coaching and guidance
- Assisting with marking assignments, workbooks and portfolio evidence
- Supporting teaching sessions and providing lesson cover where required
- Assisting with learner assessments, including observations and professional discussions
- Working closely with delivery colleagues to provide a high-quality learner experience
- Attending team meetings, standardisation activities and professional development sessions
- Contributing to curriculum improvements and continuous quality enhancement
- Providing wider operational support as required
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Teaching, tutoring, coaching or learner support experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and email
- A genuine passion for supporting and developing others
We’d also love:
- Experience working within apprenticeships
- Knowledge of apprenticeship funding and eligibility requirements
- Experience conducting reviews, assessments or learner observations
- Experience supporting curriculum development or quality improvement activities
