Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. Work is predominantly based in Hull and the surrounding area.
Skill Set Required:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical safety standards.
- Ability to work either as part of a team, or on lone projects using your own initiative.
- Proven experience as an Electrician with strong electrical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Relevant certifications or licenses preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and fault-find electrical, systems across commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings.
- Carry out electrical installations including lighting, power, containment, steel conduit, trunking, and control wiring.
- Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of BMS and heating control systems.
- Diagnose faults on electrical systems, pumps, valves, motors, sensors, and heating controls.
- Collaborate with engineers and other trades to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Complete job sheets, testing documentation, and site reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment on site.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an electrician within commercial or industrial environments.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, panel drawings, and technical documentation.
- Competent using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- 18th Edition qualification required.
- Testing & inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) beneficial but not essential.
- IPAF, PASMA, or ECS cards advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to learn.
Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
