The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to join a busy hotel operation near Dundee.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who has a strong background in hotel F&B operations, team leadership and delivering consistently high standards across restaurants, bars, functions and events.
Working closely with the senior management and kitchen teams, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the F&B operation, ensuring excellent service, strong operational standards and a memorable guest experience.
Immediate starts are available.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of all F&B areas within the hotel.
- Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant, bar and F&B teams.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food, beverage and guest service.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Manage staff rotas, training, performance and day-to-day team requirements.
- Support the delivery of weddings, functions, conferences and private events.
- Monitor service standards and ensure the team operates efficiently during busy periods.
- Deal professionally with guest feedback, enquiries and complaints.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation and cost management.
- Monitor departmental performance and support revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure all food safety, health & safety and licensing procedures are followed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism throughout the F&B operation.
- Lead by example and remain hands-on during busy services.
- Work collaboratively with the wider hotel management team to deliver an excellent overall guest experience.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as an F&B Manager, Assistant F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality position.
- Strong experience within a hotel F&B environment.
- Experience managing restaurants, bars, functions and events.
- Proven leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and hospitality compliance.
- Experience with stock control, ordering and cost management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A confident and professional approach to guest service.
- The ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- A hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy hotel periods.
- Ability to commute to the hotel, as accommodation is not available.
- Available for an immediate start.
