Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach to join our sports programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised training programmes to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Organise and oversee team practices, matches, and tournaments in accordance with league regulations
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance and confidence
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and respect
- Monitor players’ progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, achievements, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other coaching staff, parents, and school/club officials to ensure programme success
- Promote health, safety, and fair play at all times during training sessions and matches
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop players of varying ages and abilities
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety standards
- Previous experience working with youth or amateur athletes is advantageous
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for continuous learning is valued

You must be able to take a team on a Saturday , training is Tuesdays and Fridays with optional Wednesday and Thursday
Pay: £12.50-£45.00 per hour
