About Health Club Receptionist Role
We are looking for a Health Club Receptionist that understands what it takes to be the best and preferably with proven success in a similar environment. Applicants for the post will demonstrate flexibility with work hours as this position will involve shift patterns. This role is a Casual Hour Contract.
The successful Health Club Receptionist will undertake the following duties:
- Register guests and assign locker keys and towels
- Provide advice and guidance on membership registration procedures, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
- Ensure the Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and the guests are advised as well.
- Ensure a good cleanliness of the reception desk and the entire leisure facilities and Gym Complex is kept at all times which includes tasks such as cleaning gym equipment, cleaning mirrors, hoovering the floor, cleaning the bathrooms and changing rooms, etc.
- Adhere at all times to the health and safety requirements
- Deliver a friendly welcome for all guests upon entering the Leisure facilities
- Assist all guests who have queries complaints or require information, in a polite, friendly and helpful manner
- Assist and supervise guests in their use of the facilities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- To adhere at all times to the company’s data protection policies and procedures.
Skills and requirements
- Exceptional customer care skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the hotel
- Able to work on Weekends and flexibility with the time schedule
- Constantly improve knowledge and show a desire to learn, attend company’s trainings
- Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance to ensure the department runs efficiently, and assist in the event of absence cover
- Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken
- Good communication skills both written and spoken
- Proficiency in English Language is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in looking after the leisure facilities is preferable but not essential
