Position: Public Area Attendant

What will I be doing?
As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and maintenance of the public areas and achieving assigned daily housekeeping tasks and schedules. You will also be responding to guest requests in a prompt manner and assisting in the efficiency and smooth running of the Housekeeping department.
- To report any suspicious activity to the public area supervisor or executive housekeeper
- To ensure smooth delivery of guest dry-cleaning
- To sweep and mop changing room floors and replenish public area washroom amenities every thirty minutes
- To clean all basins, vanity shelf, mirrors, chrome areas, pipes, toilets and showers in the staff ladies and gents changing rooms
- To clean and polish all doors, fittings, and clean glass lamps, mirrors as required
- To deliver immediately to the Housekeeping office all Lost Property
- To carry out routine and periodic cleaning in allocated areas, as directed by Supervisors.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in Housekeeping, preferably within a 4/5* hotel
- Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
- Strong eye for detail, excellent presentation standards
- Good command of the English language, spoken and written?
- A self-starter and team-player
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
