Kamran & Co Solicitors is a well-established and respected law firm providing high-quality legal services to a diverse client base. We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Solicitor who is fluent in spoken Urdu or Punjabi to join our growing team.
We cover all aspects of business and personal immigration, Points Based System, Sponsor Licences, Entry Clearance, Leave to remain, Appeals and Judicial Review.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload from instruction through to conclusion
- Provide clear, client-focused legal advice and representation
- Communicate confidently with Punjabi and Urdu speaking clients
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and case notes to a high standard
- Maintain accurate file management and compliance with relevant procedures
- Liaise with third parties including Home Office, counsel, courts/tribunals, and other professionals
- Contribute to team targets and the firm’s high standards of service
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent with eligibility to practise in the UK) with a minimum 3 years PQE.
- Fluent in spoken Urdu and Punjabi (ability to communicate with clients in Urdu & Punjabi on a regular basis)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent client care skills and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
