Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently using basic math skills for accurate billing
- Ensure timely delivery of orders by managing workflow effectively through excellent time management
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and serving practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar food service role, demonstrating strong coffee-making skills
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in handling beverages and light food items
- Ability to serve customers professionally while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience with food preparation techniques preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
