The Role
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Renewables Electrician to support installations and commissioning of a range of renewable technologies and domestic electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical installation and commissioning of:
- Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Solar PV systems
- Battery storage (desirable)
- Mechanical ventilation systems
- General domestic electrical works (e.g. socket extensions, spurs, upgrades)
- Testing, inspecting, and certifying completed works to NICEIC standards
- Working safely and respectfully in occupied homes
- Completing all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation
- Liaising with site supervisors and retrofit teams
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- 2391 / 2394/95 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality
- Positive attitude and customer-friendly approach
- Experience with renewable systems (ASHP, Solar PV, etc.)
- Familiarity with retrofit schemes (PAS 2030 / PAS 2035)
