Job Overview
We are seeking Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and paper goods as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow organisational procedures for waste disposal and recycling programmes
- Assist with organising storage areas and ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
