QUALITY ASSESSOR – MM FLOWERS (PLANTS) LTD
Location: MM Flowers Ltd, Huntingdon Road, Chatteris, PE16 6EG
Salary: £28,500 per annum
Contract: Full-time, average 38.5 hours per week
Working hours: 07:30am to 6:30pm
Shift Pattern: Sunday–Wednesday - this will change in October / November
Join Our Quality Team at MM Flowers (Plants) Limited
We are looking for a Quality Assessor to join our team at MM Flowers Plants. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and enjoys working with both people and data.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assess raw materials and finished goods against agreed specifications.
- Accurately record quality findings and provide photographic evidence where required.
- Identify and segregate materials that are out of specification and agree appropriate actions.
- Manage material status, including Use, Hold and Dispose decisions.
- Complete grower and supplier quality reports within agreed timescales.
- Assess finished products, including raw materials, packaging, labelling and product construction.
- Produce accurate daily, weekly and periodic quality reports.
- Highlight quality issues and support corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure products meet required specifications and are reworked where necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a quality assessment or QA role in manufacturing or production
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data accurately
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate across teams and departments
- Proficiency with quality control tools and data entry systems
- Desirable: experience in the flower, horticulture or FMCG industry
