Join Our Nursery Family as a Room Lead!
Are you a confident, experienced, and passionate Early Years Practitioner ready for your next exciting step in your professional development?
At Stepping Stones Day Nursery, we are entering a truly special period of growth and development. As we continue to expand our Sprowston provision in partnership with Sparhawk Infant and Nursery School—welcoming younger children and growing our spaces—we are creating even more opportunities, enriching environments, and magical beginnings for the children and families we support. Alongside this, our much-loved Spixworth setting continues to thrive, making this a wonderfully exciting time to become part of our nursery family.
We are looking for dedicated Room Leads to take responsibility for leading a room team, supporting high-quality practice, and ensuring children experience a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where they can learn, grow, and flourish. Positions are available at both our Spixworth and Sprowston nurseries.
Are you ready to lead by example—guiding your team with confidence, sharing your expertise, and helping to create meaningful early learning experiences that spark curiosity, independence, and joy?
We are looking for a caring and motivated Room Lead who will:
- Lead and support a team to deliver high-quality care and education
- Plan and provide engaging, developmentally appropriate, child-led experiences
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Support children’s individual needs, including early identification and inclusive practice
- Work closely with the Manager to maintain high standards, policies, and procedures
At Stepping Stones, we believe in creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment where every child can thrive—and where every member of our team is supported, valued, and encouraged to develop.
Could you be the person to lead one of our rooms and help make each milestone truly magical?
