We are looking for a skilled and reliable Jerk Chef / Grill Man to join our team on a self-employed basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience cooking jerk chicken and Caribbean grilled food who is confident working on the grill and preparing food to a high standard.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced food environment and able to manage the grill while maintaining great flavour, consistency, and food hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking jerk chicken and Caribbean grilled dishes
- Managing the grill / BBQ station
- Marinating, seasoning, and preparing meats
- Ensuring food is cooked and presented to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene
- Working efficiently during busy periods
Requirements
- Experience cooking jerk chicken or Caribbean food
- Strong grilling / BBQ skills
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Self-employed status preferred
